East Coast Star: Pretty Salinetas Beach

With a beachfront promenade, white ballustrades, palm trees shading the sand and plenty of places to eat and drink close by, Salinetas beach is the most complete on the east coast.

Pasito Beach beach is one of the quietest in south Gran Canaria despite its turquoise water and fine sand.

Gran Canaria erupted with joy last night as Las Palmas' football team won promotion to the Spanish Primera Liga for the first time since 2002.

Santa Lucia the classic Sunday ride!

There’s a lot to look forward to on this route, it’s one of my favorites, a typical Sunday ride with everything in it, climbs, descents, technical sections and a tail wind home!, so as a quick run through, we start from the get go on a 11km climb to 460m, another 17km to 951m, long descent with sharp climbs back up to 600m then a descent gradual to sea and coast road home.

Big Waves Forecast For Gran Canaria

The Spanish Weather Service has placed south Gran Canaria on alert, for today Thursday 21 and tomorrow Friday 22, for large waves of up to 2.5 metres and strong gusts of wind.
