Tip Of The Day: Anfi Island Swimming Area

Anfi beach island is heart-shaped and has a swimming area Anfi beach island is heart-shaped and has a swimming area www.photosgrancanaria.com

If Anfi beach is busy or you just want to swim in cool, deep water, then walk out onto the heart-shaped island and you’ll find a set of steps and a safe swimming area just next to the ferry dock.

The swimming area is there so that clients from the smart but pool-less Maroa Club del Mar can cool off between cocktails but is public.

There are similar swimming areas close to several of south Gran Canaria's beaches including Amadores and Puerto Rico, as well as a fantastic deep swimming area at Pasito Blanco marina.
