Dusty Air Over Gran Canaria This Week

Dust heading to Gran Canaria from the east Dust heading to Gran Canaria from the east Photos Gran Canaria

The clouds and rain that sat over Gran Canaria last weekend will fade away through today and a new blast of dusty African arrive arrives tomorrow.

This will clear the cloud but won't raise temperatures that much. It may even make the next few nights cooler as clear skies don't hold in the heat like cloudy ones do.

The winds this week will be from the east and could be gusty.

Expect the dust to be around until at least Friday. For the weekend, it looks like the north of the island will be getting showers.
