The south of the island will be sunny with the odd patch of high cloud. Expect it to feel hot on the beaches. Maspalomas and Playa del Inglés beaches may be a bit gusty on Saturday.

The north will be cloudy in the mornings with big clear patches during the day and then more cloud in the evenings. 

The highlands will be sunny above 1500 metres once you get above the cloud.
