Bus Travel From San Agustín

San Agustín resort is a sleepy place but has good bus links with Playa del Inglés, Maspalomas and Las Palmas. The buses use the main resort road so find the nearest stop and use our bus line guide below to pick the right one.

None of the buses that stop at San Agustín actually start or finish their journey in the resort. This means that you have to dig into the Global timetables to work out times. If in doubt ask at the excellent Tourist Information Office.

Pay for your bus journey onboard, or buy a discount card from local shops if you plan to use the bus regularly.

Here's the most useful bus lines that run through San Agustín resort.

If Gran Canaria has a chicken bus, this is it. Line 1 goes all the way from Las Palmas to Puerto de Mogán and stops all over the place to drop off workers and visitors. It's slow but useful. Line one doesn't go through Playa del Inglés resort.

Line 4 is similar but only runs a couple of times per day. It does go through Playa del Inglés but doesn't stop at the Maspalomas bus station by the Faro.

Line 5 is also similar but does stop at Maspalomas Faro.

Line 25 runs between Faro Maspalomas and Arinaga town on the east coast. It makes lots of stops but is the only public transport connection between the resorts and Arinaga.

Line 36 gets you from San Agustín to Telde.

Line 41 is the bus that goes from Maspalomas, via San Agustín, all the way to Agüimes and the Guayadeque valley. Unfortunately, there's no return bus on the same day.

Line 45 gets you from San Agustín to Palmitos Park.

Line 66 is the bus that goes from Maspalomas to the airport and stops at San Agustín.
