Mainland Spain is in for an abominable weekend and seems to be in the sharing mood; A flow of cold northern air is set to hit the Canary Islands on Sunday, but it is much weaker than last week's episode of bad weather.
The only consequence for south Gran Canaria and the resorts will be cloudy patches and maybe the odd shower late on Saturday and on Sunday. Until then, expect blue skies and sunshine.
What the front will do is drop the temperature so expect day temps in the low 20s on Sunday and Monday. The sea will also get rough but again mostly in the north.
