There may be the odd shower and gust of wind anywhere on Gran Canaria on Monday and Tuesday morning, but also plenty of sunshine. 

By Tuesday afternoon the sky will be mainly clear with some high cloud so be prepared to slap on the suncream during the day and find a good spot to watch the sunset; high cloud tends to be spectacular as the sun goes down.

The high cloud will last through Wednesday.

By Thursday it looks like we'll get a blast of warm air coming from Africa which will push up the temperature and maybe bring some calima dust. 

The north coast surf will be small but consistent all through the week.
