Palmitos Park is set in twenty hectares of a palm-filled valley just inland from Maspalomas and Playa del Ingles. It started as an exotic bird park but now has everything from komodo dragons to dolphins. Palmitos is a great day out for adults and kids and even when it's full there's plenty of room for everyone.

The most popular attractions at the park are its bird and dolphin shows. From performing parrots to exotic birds and eagles, it's worth timing your trip to take in as many of them as possible. Click here to see the times of each show.

Palmitos Park takes several hours to walk around if you stop for the shows and is a full day out. There's plenty of places to buy food and drink along the route.

Entry costs around 30 euros per adult although you can save by going up the valley on the blue buses (line 45 from Bahia Feliz, San Agustín, Playa del Inglés and Maspalomas: Line 70 from Puerto Rico, Arguineguin and Maspalomas. Another way to save is with a joint ticket to Palmitos Park and the Aqualand water park.
