The east wind that gave us hot, sunny days for the last two weeks has swung to the south. This means that we'll get warm tropical air over Gran Canaria and the Canary Islands for the next few days.
Expect warm days with plenty of sunshine, although there may be some high cloud at times (wear suncream as you can still burn easily under high cloud).
This spell of great weather looks set to continue all week as stable high pressures over North Africa are blocking any weather systems that form in the North Atlantic.
Temperatures will be in the high 20s during the day and shouldn't drop much below 20ºC until late at night.
There's not much going on in the water. The wave forecast is small for the whole week.
