Rather than just a windsurfing tournament, Pozo lays on a full-blown festival with daily concerts, demonstrations and kiddie activities.

Pozo is a great place to visit during the festival as the action happens just offshore so you get to see the wold's best windsurfers doing incredible stunts. With hundereds of flags blowing, music competing with the howling wind and a great atmosphere, Pozo is the coolest place in Gran Canaria during Wind and Waves.

The cafe at the north end of the pebble beach caters to hungry windsurfers so you get big portions of great food at excellent prices. 

The Wind and Waves Festival 2015 is on between July 11 and 19. The tournament strts at 10.00 am every day.
